Momi House, Maple House
A key feature of Momi House and Maple House is the six seminar rooms and the common living & dining area located on the spacious first floor.
These facilities are open not only to dormitory residents but also to commuting students and faculty members, and are used as spaces for learning and interaction, such as lectures, study groups, parties, and watching sports together.
From the second floor upward, each floor serves as a residential area accommodating 32 residents.
Each floor consists of 12 double rooms and 8 single rooms. Reflecting residents’ voices that “sharing a room is one of the most enjoyable parts of living in an educational dormitory,” double rooms are the main type of accommodation.
On the 6th floor of Momi House, single rooms are the main type of accommodation, designed to be flexible for students with diverse needs. The 7th floor is primarily for graduate students.
In both Momi House and Maple House, the 2nd floors are for men only, the 3rd to 5th floors are for women only, and the 6th and 7th floors are mixed-gender.
At the center of each floor is a shared common area where all 32 residents can gather, including a kitchen, social room, study rooms, and laundry facilities.
These shared spaces encourage natural interaction in daily life among Japanese and international students with different cultures, languages, religions, and perspectives.
