Profile
Ms. Mikami earned both undergraduate and master's degree from the Tokyo University of the Arts (organ major). Upon graduation, she was awarded Douseikai Prize. She went to France to study at Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse and Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Caen, where she gained unanimous accreditation for her organ study and, in addition to that, received diplomas in harpsichord and basso continuo. At the 9th Mikael Tariverdiev International Organ Competition, she was the first in the competition's history to be awarded both the First Prize and special prize for best interpretation of Mikael Tariverdiev works. First prize winner of the 12th Concours International d'Orgue de la ville de Biarritz. Nomura Foundation Scholarship recipient for the first half of 2018; completed Hall Organist Internship Program of Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall in 2019. She has studied organ with Naoya Otsuka, Tomoko Hidemura, Naoko Imai, Rie Hiroe, Jan Willem Jansen, Michel Bouvard, and Erwan Le Prado. She has given concerts in France, Holland, Czech Republic, Latvia and Japan. She is a member of Japan Association of Organists and the Japan Organ Society.
