Profile
Mayu Harada received B.A. and M.A. degrees from Tokyo University of the Arts, where she was awarded the Ataka Music Prize, Acanthus Prize and Graduate School Acanthus Music Prize. She studied organ under Naoya Otsuka, Kaoru Dobashi, Megumi Tokuoka, and solfege/improvisation under Takeshi Kondo. While she was taking her master's course, she went to France to study at Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Saint-Maur-des-Fossés where she studied organ with Eric Lebrun. At the conservatoire, she also registered for the ancient music course and studied harpsichord and basso continuo under Aurélien Delage and chamber music with Jean-François Ballèvre. She was awarded Mention Spéciale at the Concours International d'Orgue André Marchal - Gaston Litaize. She is organist for MUSE Tokorozawa Hall, Nishikatamachi Church, and a supportive organist at the Meiji Gakuin University.
