Tsuzuki Yurie
Born in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. Began studying the organ at the age of 15 at the Toyota City Concert Hall Organ School.Graduated from the Department of Instrumental Music, majoring in organ, at the Tokyo University of the Arts. Completed the master's program at the university's Graduate School of Music.
While still a graduate student, she pursued studies at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, where she completed the Master's program in organ with unanimous highest honors. She studied organ under Yuichiro Shiina, Tsuguo Hirono, Megumi Tokuoka, and P. D. Peretti.
She won second place at the 5th Agati-Tronchi International Organ Competition
in Pistoia, Italy. She returned to Japan in 2017 and is currently based in Aichi and Tokyo, where he performs.
Since taking up the position of organist at the Aichi Prefectural Art Theater in the fall of 2018, she has performed at venues such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, Ryutopia (Niigata), Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall, and Suntory Hall, while also collaborating with various orchestras, including the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra. Recipient of the Toyota Culture Newcomer Award in Reiwa 1 (2019).
