The ICU Peace Bell Scholarship Award Ceremony was held online.

Although the Ceremony is normally scheduled on the same day as the Spring Matriculation in early April, it was canceled due to the spread of COVID-19.

However, we are pleased to announce that through the online system, we could hold the Scholarship Award Ceremony to welcome new scholars to ICU, and many donors joined us from international and domestic remote places for celebrating the admissions of seven new scholars.

The seven scholars, who have just started their college lives without having been able to come to campus yet, seemed to have enjoyed learning at ICU through online, and been stimulated every day.

Each of them expressed their gratitude directly to all the donors and shared their high aspirations as scholars. The freshman scholars were encouraged by warm words of donors and senior scholars, and all hoped that they would be able to begin their studies on campus as early as possible.

ICU Peace Bell Scholarship is offered by ICU, which is entirely supported by donations, to outstanding students who will become role models at ICU. In principle, it grants annually one million yen for four years. Applications are accepted before their matriculation, and supports will be given throughout four years of their enrollments.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support for future scholars.
