New Fundraising "Short Term Emergency Aid for Students in Need"

Through our activities to support students affected by the COVID-19 crisis, we learned that there are students who, for various reasons, are unable to receive financial support from their parents or relatives and are suffering from hardship for tomorrow's living expenses, although they remain latent. Even today, their own part-time incomes are affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, increasing their economic distress.
To alleviate the financial and psychological burden on students and allow them to continue their studies with as much peace of mind as possible, at ICU, we have decided to establish a hardship relief fund that will provide grants to students. We would like to provide financial support of up to 50,000 yen per case to help students with their living expenses. In addition, since the purpose of this support is to aid students who are truly in need, we have developed a system to ensure that the financial support is provided promptly, from the time of their application to the time of their receiving.

We would greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
