Supporting ICU Through the Furusato Nozei (Hometown Tax Program) for Mitaka City
You can support ICU through the Mitaka City Community Development Support Donation (furusato nozei). Approximately 70% of the donated amount is allocated to ICU through the Mitaka City Support Subsidies for Universities.
About This Donation

Please make your donation via the Furusato Choice website ("Furusato Nozei" portal site in Japanese).
Use of Subsidies from Mitaka City:
The subsidies will be used discerningly for the following purposes. (ICU will decide how it will be distributed）.
- Community development projects implemented in cooperation with Mitaka City or local organizations operating in Mitaka City.
- Projects to promote international exchange（including support for study abroad, etc.）
- Projects to maintain campus facilities and equipment and preserve the environment（including tree planting）
- Projects to maintain the education and research environment （including support for education and research activities）

1. Select 「三鷹市（Mitaka City）」 on the Furusato Choice
Click the 「地域からさがす（Search by Region）」 tab and then select 「東京都（Tokyo）」 → 「三鷹市（Mitaka City）」
2. Select “No Thank-You Gift”
Click 「『お礼の品』不要の寄付をする（Donate without receiving a thank-you gift）」
3. Confirm the donation amount
Enter the donation amount and click「寄付する（Confirm）」
4. Membership registration
Register as a new member (free) and log in, or donate without registering
5. Select “Donate to Mitaka City Support Subsidies for Universities” for purpose
For the purpose of your donation, select「【お礼の品はございません】三鷹市大学応援交付金（Donate to Mitaka City Support Subsidies for Universities (No Thank-Your Gift)）」
6. Enter personal information and select International Christian University
Enter donor information and select a payment method. Under「『三鷹市大学応援交付金』に寄付される方へ (Donors to Mitaka City Support Subsidies for Universities)」, select「国際基督教大学（International Christian University）」and then proceed to the payment screen
Note
- You will be making a donation to Mitaka City, therefore Mitaka City will be issuing the receipt, not ICU.
- Mitaka City and ICU will not be handing out return gifts for the donation using this system, but you will be eligible for income and resident tax deductions.
- Mitaka City residents can also make this donation.
- When you accept the terms to do so at the time you make your donation, your personal information will be provided to ICU from Mitaka City.
- Those who do not need to file tax returns, such as salaried employees, can use the Furusato Nozei One Stop Special Provisions System, if they meet certain conditions, to receive tax deductions for their donation.
