Expansion of the ICU Torch Relay High Endeavor Scholarship for New Students Guaranteed Selection for All Qualified General Admissions (Ippan-Senbatsu) Applicants

Starting with applicants for April 2026 enrollment, ICU will expand the eligibility for the ICU Torch Relay High Endeavor Scholarship for incoming students.

This scholarship provides an exemption for the admission fee as well as the tuition and facilities fees for the first term (Spring Term) of each academic year for four years (ICU operates on a three-term system).

Previously, the number of recipients was limited to 24 per year across all admission categories. However, starting from the 2026 academic year, we are removing this cap for General Admissions (Ippan-Senbatsu) applicants. We now guarantee the scholarship award to all applicants who pass the General Admissions (Ippan-Senbatsu) and meet the required eligibility criteria.
