The ICU Peace Bell Scholarship Award Ceremony was held online for April-Entering Students

We are pleased to announce that on Friday, April 16, the Peace Bell Scholarship (PBS) Award Ceremony was held online, celebrating the admission of five new scholars with many donors who participated from abroad and domestic remote places.
The five scholars, who have just entered ICU in April 2020, have started to learn at ICU in Spring term in the form of a combination of online and face-to-face classes, and seem to have enjoyed learning with their definite aims in mind for the next four years.
At the Online PBS Award Ceremony, they expressed their deep gratitude to their donors and their high aspirations as scholars in their own words. Chair of the Board of Trustees Hirotaka TAKEUCHI and President Shoichiro IWAKIRI welcomed the new scholars, along with senior scholars, and gave messages of encouragement to the scholars. Chair and President also expressed their profound gratitude to donors for their generous support.

We would like to share warm messages from donors to our university, as well as words of gratitude from the scholars.

The ICU Peace Bell Scholarship is an ICU original scholarship, funded entirely by kind donations. In principle, it grants annually one million yen for four years to outstanding students who will become role models at ICU. Applications are accepted before their matriculation, and the support will be given throughout four years of their enrollments.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support for future scholars.
