Celebrating the Graduation of the First SL Ambassadors!

Of the six original members who laid the foundation for SL Ambassador, two graduated in March 2020, and the remaining four have now graduated. Originally, 2 students who finished their SL activities said to SLC, "We want to do something for the development of SL after SL activities!” Then, we welcomed four students who agreed with the idea, and this project started around September 2018. Since then, we have been meeting regularly once a month to discuss ideas such as "how to let more ICU students know about the attractiveness of SL" and "how to build a better SL program". They have been actively involved in a variety of activities, including events such as Q&A sessions and film screenings, creating and displaying posters, sharing information on SNS, creating SL videos, and presenting their experiences at Open Campus and in class.

On March 24, 2021, we had an online lunch meeting including two graduates who had already graduated. As we asked them about their future plans after graduation, such as going to the graduate school or working at companies, they said, "My SL experience had a great impact on my career decision," "I will establish a branch office in Africa (Kenyan participant)," and "I will continue to study development studies based on my learning from SL.” We hope they will have success and happiness in their new life, using their SL experience. Without these six people, SL Ambassador would not exist today. Thank you so much and congratulations on your graduation!
