N-week is a week organized by students as part of the Service-Learning Program in Nagasaki to think about peace and nuclear weapons at ICU. "N" stands for Nagasaki and Nuclear. It consists of an exhibition of Atomic-bomb artifacts, a testimony by hibakusha, and a discussion event by students.

1. Exhibition:

Open period: 6th to 10th February @International Conference Room (2nd floor of the University Cafeteria)

This is an exhibit of artifacts from the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum that were exposed to radiation. The exhibition shows the horrific power and devastation of the only atomic bomb used in actual warfare, along with Hiroshima.

Note: To prevent the spread of the COVID-19, in-person participation is limited to students, faculty, and related personnel of ICU.

2. Testimony by a Hibakusha

Feb. 6(Mon) 12:50-13:40@International Conference Room

Seventy-seven years have passed since the end of the war, and those who experienced the war are aging. This is one of the few rare opportunities to hear from those who actually experienced the war. Why don't you come and meet them in person and think about the atomic bombing?

Note: English summary will be distributed, and English assistance will be provided for Q&A session.

Speaker: Seiichiro Mise
