Academic Planning
Professor Akiko Fujii, Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) (Major: Language Education), introduced the principles of liberal arts education and the major system to new students, emphasizing the importance of designing their own academic path and taking initiative in shaping their university experience.
Say Goodbye to Course Confusion with IBS!
IBS introduced the importance of course planning and the tools necessary for course registration, providing practical advice based on their own experiences and lessons learned, including both successful and challenging cases.
Major Poster Session
During the Major Poster Session, faculty members representing each major engaged actively with new students, who deepened their understanding of fields of interest through these interactions.
*ICU Brothers and SIsters (IBS): A group of peer advisors (student advisors) composed of second- to fourth-year students.
