  The October LAS Users Gathering was planned as an opportunity to take a break and refresh themselves through casual artistic creation, after the ICU Festival and midterm exams.

  For this time, we tried the art technique of Frottage. Frottage is a French word meaning "to rub." In this technique, a piece of paper is placed over an object with an uneven surface, such as a coin, and rubbed with a colored pencil or crayon to transfer the surface pattern onto the paper.

  Participants challenged themselves to transfer patterns from various items, including coins and badminton shuttlecocks provided by LAS, fallen leaves they brought, patterns on a commuter pass case, and the texture of crumpled aluminum foil. Some also combined these elements to create abstract-like drawings.

  It was a relaxing time for users to connect, where they chatted about their recent activities over lunch and viewed and touched each other's artworks.
